Appointment Bookings
Thank you for your patience and ongoing support while we were trying to work out how to best support the BC pet community and provide behavioural support for as many pets as possible. Please carefully read our update below on our new appointment system.
Starting June 1st 2022, Dr. Richter will offer vet-to-vet consultations for K9 patients over 8 months. These consultations are between Dr. Richter and your primary care veterinarian who will then provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan. Your dog will stay a patient with your primary care veterinarian, Dr. Richter is unable to give direct advice. Please ask your veterinarian to send a referral form and book the consultation.
Full K9 consultations directly to clients will be booked only for puppies under 8 months or after a vet-to-vet consult determines that a case is too complicated to be treated in general practice.
Dr. Richter will continue to see feline patients, exotics and farm animals for full consultations as previously. Feline consults continue to be offered through telemedicine.
We are hoping to be able to help more patients faster this way and filter out the patients that truly need to be referred for specialized care. Complicated cases can then also receive faster direct care.
Please feel free to email us at info@pacificvetbehavior.mail.vetbadger.com for any further questions.
